Professor Chris Conlon, Interim Head of Department, attended the First Beijing International Conference on Precision Medicine and Cancer Treatment where he gave a talk on Medical Education in the 21st Century. He highlighted the importance of combining theoretical knowledge and clinical experience and discusssed the impact of sequencing the human genome to medicine. He also discussed some of the problems existing in medical education in different countries.
