Fighting malaria in Myanmar

The Shoklo Malaria Research Unit (SMRU) is leading a mass drug administration effort to combat malaria in Myanmar's villages. The drug regime works by eliminating malaria parasite reservoirs, thus reducing the risk of malaria transmission.
