Matthew Holland

DPhil Student

Doctoral Student in Medicinal Chemistry

I am a doctoral student in medicinal chemistry, supervised by Professor Paul Brennan at the Centre for Medicines Discovery, and Dr Fernanda Duarte at the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory. My research broadly revolves around the development of software tools for the prediction and discovery of new bioactive drug molecules.

Outside of the laboratory, I sing in the Choir of Merton College, and am involved in national and international rowing. I am also passionate about wine, and serve as the Brennan Group Wine Steward.
