Transfection Reagent Panel
This transfection reagent panel was assembled by the Target Discovery Institute HTS Facility as a representative sample of the siRNA transfection reagents currently available. This list is not exhaustive and additional transfection reagents specially formulated for particular cell types are available through numerous smaller vendors.
We suggest the first step of any transfection optimization include a thorough literature search followed by consultation with a member of the TDI HTS facility to narrow the field before experiments begin.
Samples of most of these transfection reagents listed below are available for optimization in the TDI HTS facility. Please contact us when you are beginning your transfection optimization.
The links below provide additional details about each of the reagents available from vendors along with protocols detailing their use.
Transfection reagents highlighted in BOLD in the list are held as part of the TDI stock transfection reagent panel. These transfection reagents have been tested across a range of cell types at the TDI.
