Automated Analysis of High Content Imaging Data

The Operetta system comes with Harmony software which allows automated analysis of image data. An example of the automated analysis is shown in the picture (provided by Dr Matt Benson, Bhattacharya Group), where cells stained with DAPI, Mitotracker and Lysotracker were imaged, and then analysed to find and segment the nuclei, cytoplasm, exclude border cells, and then identify and segment the lysosomes. This allows quantitative measurements of organelle characteristics.
